I believe you're asking about the murders of three young women on the Burnside Mountain south of the city. That was in 1973.

I found a scanned reprint here: NewspaperARCHIVE.com - Indiana Evening Gazette - 1975-11-25 - Search Newspaper Articles - 113887962

And another scan here: NewspaperARCHIVE.com - Lebanon Daily News - 1975-11-25 - Search Newspaper Articles - 106283510

Search on the names of the three guilty parties, you might find something.

Man Guilty In Slaying
LEBANON, Pa. (AP)

Roland D. Scandle of Shamokin has been convicted of three counts of first-degree murder in the 1973 deaths of three teenaged Shamokin girls.
A Lebanon County jury, after 4' a hours of deliberations Monday, also convicted Scandle of criminal conspiracy in the case. He is the third man to come to trial.

Joseph Ziemba, 23, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case and turned state's evidence. Sebastian Yost, 24, was convicted of murder and has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The girls, Margaret Long, 16, and her sister, Sharon, 15, and a friend, Carol Taylor, also 15, were killed in July of 1973.
Their bodies were found in a shallow grave on Burnside Mountain three months later.

A defense lawyer indicated he would appeal the verdict against Scandle, 21. The trial was transferred here from Northumberland County because of widespread publicity in the Yost trial.
