Wooden nickels (Lewisburg: hotel, home, to buy)

This is gonna sound crazy, but I'm trying to find out if a place in PA (near Dutch Country, possibly?) is still around.

I went there a couple of times while on vacation with my family from NY back in the mid-late 70's. If my memory serves me correctly, it was a family style restaurant with a country store attached. I DO remember getting wooden nickels to buy penny candy.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? I'd love to visit again if we're ever back in PA.

The Country Cupboard in Lewisburg gives wooden nickels with the kids meals. The kids can exchange them for penny candy (but only three pieces of candy now - inflation I guess). There's gift shop attached, which has grown A LOT since the 1970s. There's a greenhouse and all kids of themed areas now. Do you think this could be the place you're remembering?

The name does sound very familiar, I would bet that's the place!

They're still open and growing and growing. They've added a hotel or two, and a Damon's to their properties they own. The founder died recently but his kids are carrying on.
