Default Possible relocation

My husband may be getting a job in Morrisville. We currently live in Newark, DE and both work in Wilmington. We were trying to find a place to live that would still be easy for me to get to work but, also cut the time for his commute. Can anyone suggest an area that is safe, lower taxes. We realize that houses are more expensive in PA. Is it possible to find a house for less than 300k in a decent area?

Thanks.

Delaware County would take about 1/2 hour out of the commute to Morrisville, but you are still probably looking at an hour commute to Morrisville. Your Wilmington commute would be about the same give or take 10-15 minutes.

Areas for easy access to I-95.

Garnet Valley-Concord Township,Bethel Township,Chester Heights-Great schools

Aston-Good schools

Boothwyn-Good schools

Ridley Park-Good schools

Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will show my husband and at least we will have a start if we decide to relocate.
