Santorum is quoted as saying about the poor, "suffering is part of life, it is an essential part of life" this directly contradicts the teachings of Christ.

Santorum and his followers use religion as a way to push an agenda, they don't care about the actual teachings of Christ. In many ways Santorum and the radical right are not much different than the radical Muslims that they tell us to be afraid of and to condemn.

I go to church with my family most every Sunday. It pains me to see politicians and radical Christians pervert the true message of Christ.

Santorum is an absolute embarassment.
He and his wife had an abortion, yet he won't let other women have one (if he had his way).
For tort reform, except when his wife sued a chiropractor for $500k.
Stole money from the Penn Hills school district.
Look at the house he had in Penn Hills where his cousin also lived - along with his large family, hardly.
How about his war against women and their own procreative choices.

I hope he wins the R nomination.

Say what you will about Santorum, but he has run an impressive campaign. I still think Romney pulls it out, but Santorum has made a decent comeback after his big loss back in 2006.

It would be more impressive if his votes weren't from the flat Earth crowd only.

If he would were to be the nominee and had to face ALL of PA's voters (and all of every other state) it would be very different.

We actually have a reference of how he would do - 2006.

Santorum is a self righteous, judgmental, hypocritical, egotistical, fricking idiot that smiles all the time and is playing on the unfortunate uneducated right wind fundamentalist states like Alabama that are voting for him because he's gay bashing and has charisma. Now that Sarah Palin isn't campaigning, the non-thinking contingency in the Republican Party has gravitated to Rick Santorum. It's these people who have marginalized the entire party and made the Democrats look favorable regardless of how unqualified they are.
