Does anybody know of a good way to find listings for available land for sale for residential use? Websites/news papers? I'm looking or 1 acre or less.

Thanks

Take your choice of any real estate agent or drive down the road and read the signs.

There are enough property's in Pennsylvania for sale right now that you can practically pick the street that you wish to be on.

realtor.com has a way you can search for land by zip code.

If you were in downtown Erie, all you would have to do is look out the window of your car because there is at least one house for sale or in foreclosure on every block of every street in the entire town.

In the country, forget it.

People knows what the land is worth right now and no one is just giving away land. When you can find land for sale in my neighborhood, it is usually land that was strip mined for coal and then reclaimed and then drilled for natural gas and all the mineral rights are gone and all you get is the surface rights.

Your best bet is to buy a building that is already established, which is in the neighborhood where you wish to establish yourself and just pay the taxes and the payments and write everything off on your taxes and save your money and get a community block grant and let the government pay for you to build your building and not try to do it with your own money.

Do you get my point?
