We have our own "Rick" problems here in Texas (Perry), but at least he finally came home and now isn't bothering the rest of the country with wanting to be President.

Could you good folks in Pennsylvania not have returned the favor with YOUR Rick (Santorum) and kept him there by re-electing him? Now he's surging in the Republican polls and thinks he needs to be President. What's up with that? I don't need him or anyone else telling me how to run my personal life with my husband, i.e., birth control.

I hope y'all can tell this is written in good fun, but most Texans don't think either Rick is Presidential material.

Too bad Rick Astley is ineligible, he would never let us down.

I lived in Pennsylvania when he was Senator, it was the Pat Boone sweaters. (and perhaps some of the crazy stuff he wrote in editorials in the Philadelphia Inquirer)

PA is a conservative state, not a Conservative state.

He's a self righteous bigoted homophobe. He talks about homosexuality so much, I think he has his own issues and urges regarding his sexuality that he deals with by putting gays in the crosshairs, I think, as do many others, that he may be a closeted gay drenched in self hatred, as many homophobes are, and despite showcasing his "family values", there's a dark side to Rick Santorum. He's a tortured man despite that big fake non-stop smile and along with his other outlandish statements over the years, Pennsylvanians threw him out. It's only because the Republican nominees are so pathetic, that he's surging in the polls, Obama is going to wipe out whoever the Republican loser-winner is.

Because Santorum is a batsh*t crazy bigot who would love nothing more than for this country to be a Christian theocracy, and believes that we should be bombing more countries and getting into holy wars. He also believes that women should go back to the roles they played in the 18th century, and that homosexuals are no different from those who practice bestiality.

Rick Santorum should be in a mental institution, not the White House. Luckily there is no chance in hell he wins a national election. His kooky following of bible thumpers may get him enough votes to win republican primaries, but he will not win in November if he makes it that far.

I agree. It seems that some of the biggest homophobes who dwell on homosexuality so much are really just trying to supress their own homosexuality. And Santorum does look like he could be gay...

Perhaps the state realized it is a bit wrong to:

*Even mention the idea of no birth control

*Force a woman/girl to birth a rapist's baby after suffering through this vicious crime

("make the best of it", he said...)

Think this ignorant and insensitive millionaire
understands issues in the US??? He lives in a bubble created for the wealthy...

where no REAL issues ever permeate his life.

The presidential two term limit is not compatible with his "never gonna say goodbye" platform.

(On the other hand, he would be the first president since Washington to never tell a lie.)
