We are looking at both of these areas as possible relocation spots. We love the area of Harrisburg/Hershey and the surrounding locales.

Doing a bit of research I noted that both Carlisle and Derry Township school districts are much better than where we are at now (Wilkes-Barre Area). This is a big factor in our decision.

So, some questions:

What are the average rents in Carlisle and Derry Township?

Are either of these areas walkable?

We are looking for an area where walking to the library, schools and stores are within reason.

How difficult is it to find housing in the area?

How are the parks systems?

Are the schools as good as they look on paper?
