I already posted about the college's graduation rates and grades vs. other Division I-A schools. I must say you've had quite experiences in your career - you've worked with addicts, children and now athletics. In what capacity did you deal with "pro atheletes college or pro teams"?

a nurse if u must know and as a gathering place for pro athlete friends for over 10 years----this is a typical dubious northeast pa question that shows the common lack of trust of people in the area---but i digress----- ----

Those scholarships were paid for by the football program as were many other benefits for the students unrelated to the football program. There isn't all of sudden more money because they aren;t giving scholarships to football players, there is less.

For graduation rates where top ranked football programs are concerned they are tied for number 1 with Stanford

How appropriate...the Paterno name is on the Catholic Student Faith Center at PSU.....some of the most well-known pedo-protectors right there, Paterno and the Catholic church.

Graduation rates may not tell the whole story, though, unless we know the types of courses and their difficulty reuired to graduate. I think its safe to assume that say, Notre Dame or Stanford, has a much more rigorous course load than Penn State. Does PSU allow athletes to take cake majors like basketweaving? I highly doubt that ND, Stanford, Duke, Rice, BC, etc have any cake majors.
