Default Need help with PA real estate law..we have a major issue.

I've posted in the real estate section but as our situation is specific to PA..I'm hoping to get more info here.

Here is our situation. We bought a foreclosure about 6 mo ago using the same agent that had property listed. We went to closing with title work coming in the day before. Paralegal said everything was fine other than several judgements/liens..they would be paid at closing. We were given report as closing wrapped up..already in folder from the attorney. She said nothing about it. So fast forward to now. Our neighbor told us of future changes to our property. Huh? We ran to the township to find out what was going on. Found out about 2 easements. They were rerouting the entrance to our subdivision and putting new road right thru our propery. In addition..the second one was a major road running across the back of our property as well. All of this making over an 1 acre of our 3 acres unusable as I will not allow my children to cross 2 roads to go play on the other side. We were flabbergasted to say the least. This had been on file since 4/11. Locals would have known about it..however we were from 1000 mi away. So after a little digging it seems the township made a payout on the property while it was in bankruptcy/foreclosure. It was applied to liens held by the bank. So while the disclosure isn't required when being sold by a bank..do they not HAVE to disclose something they absolutely know adversely affects the property?

We are seeking the advice of an attorney..aside from our closing attorney as I think she may have some liability as well.

Thanks!

Our property is in red..our house and drive way are blue. The current road is in light gray and runs in front and down beside our property to the main road.

This is my plan. We are right on the line of NY so I'm going to concentrate on Horseheads/Elmira or Binghamton. If you read my other thread in Real Estate (it is rather lenghthy lol) there are many more details. Things are looking like a many folks involved were underhanded. What a shame. Not very happy calling this place home.

I used a pretty good closing lawyer in the lehigh valley. The other guy's firm seemed to be highly regarded as well. I can PM you both names, if it's relatively close to you.
