Hi.
Can any members give my wife and I any information on what it is like to live in the spring grove area of york county. We are currently in the UK but are coming to visit friends in Rockaway New Jersey in September. I am currently working for Glatfelter UK and would like to visit there facility when we come over later in the year. I thoughrally enjoyed our last stay in the States and if a job opertunity arose I think I would have to consider our options. We have 3 kids 13,10,8 any info on schools, employment, cost of houses ,living etc would be greatly excepted.
Thanks for your time Paul UK

hello
me and my husband have lived in that area all our lives and have moved but after 7 month are now moving back. spring grove schools are ok. Dallastown schools are far better in education but slightly higher in cost of living. stay away from red lion schools it is nothing but trouble and have had school shootings and stabings.

My wife's parents live there and it is a nice place to live. There are some areas where you can get a big home on a big lot for a decent price (along with a well and a septic system). Not sure about the school districts, but it is a nice area and convenient to York, Harrisburg, and Maryland.

Top, I live in the Red Lion school district. When were there stabbings and shootings? Within the last 2 years? Caused I have lived here that long, and have a 2 year old son, and would love to know if this is truly the situation in RL schools. I have heard that D-town is the better school district along with Central and suburban, then RL in terms of rankings.
