Looking for Summer work (4 months) (Philadelphia, Chester: amusement park, hotels, legally)

Hello!
We are the participants of a Work and Travel exchange program.This program allows us to come to the US and to work there legally for up to 4 months.

We are 2 students (girls) from Moscow (Russia) and we're looking for such kinds of work as waitress, shop assistant, assistant manager etc. We can swim well and we are very communicative persons. Our english is very good. So we'll be able to work from the beginning of June up to the end of September.

Look into the larger hotel corporations, such as Marriott International. I know they have a program. good luck to you both.

Hersheypark and Resorts in Hershey is very active with the foreign exchange program. They hire them to work in the amusement park and resort hotels. Official Website for Hershey Jobs - Located in Hershey, PA

Olga you might have better luck checking into the beaches of southern New Jersey. They do a huge tourism season in the summer. Its a big hub for young international workers. You will meet alot of young americans vacationing, but you will also get to meet young people from all around the world who work at the beaches. Life guards,waitresses,waterpark,shops etc. etc..

If you have your heart set to work in Pennsylvania the only advice I can give you is maybe King of Prussia which is 15 miles west of Philadelphia.(Biggest "shopping" mall in Usa)

Philadelphia
West Chester
Doylestown
New Hope

Would be your best bets in landing decent jobs but I think you'd have more fun at the beach in New Jersey.Most of southeast Pennsylvania empties out in the summer as everyone heads for the beaches in NJ.


Hershey park is an excellent option so good work by danwxman.
