I'm a Western Pennsylvania native, but I'm ready to throw in the towel and move to greener pastures.

I'm college-degreed and comfortable with being an end-user of Internet technology, but it seems that opportunities to expand my skills base in this area are severely limited -- or very expensive. And I'm really not in a position to head back to college for another bachelor's degree.

Specifically, I'm looking to develop my skills in SEO, SEM, PPC and other online marketing strategies.

Does Central Pennsylvania offer better opportunities to expand my skills base in this arena? How about Eastern Pennsylvania?

Or should I just forget about Pennsylvania and move somewhere better?

I read an article in the local paper for Harrisburg which stated that central PA currently has a deficit of hundreds of technology jobs, and that many local companies have started recruiting out of state. It didn't mention which companies, but I do know that there is a strong high-tech job market in the Harrisburg area and such a demand for skilled workers that a whole university was just started up a few years ago to meet that demand.
