LOL, thanks for being honest. Totally didn't expect that post.
If you had bothered to read the post, you would have realized he actually was giving Pa., in general, some compliments. BUT, you didn't bother. Your past posts bashed PA, now you're back again I see.
I hope the moderators are watching you.
Jerseyshel...thanks for giving credit where credit is due...Pa. is really a wonderful state! And if my husband saw you on the side of the road, even after working 18 hours, I can guarantee you, he would have stopped to help. And can you beleive he is from N.Y.!

JerseyShel is on a distinguished road
my grammer has never been good, and I always ramble its just me ----> even when I talk sorry if that makes me hard to read

I just figured with many people being so .......... grumpy about EVERYONE from Pa I would just pull two positive things that have happened to me while I was visiting.

As for prices compared to here I'm still wondering about that. yes you would think somethings would cost more (and a few do) but mostly everything I've paid for has been much cheaper - even the Turtle tank I bought at some little out of the way pet store on a trip to Barnesville last Jan cost me $50 LESS then the one I was going get from PetSmart here

I admire your detective work, but this is not the time to be flaming/bashing other posters about grammar and what they think about PA. If you have a beef with me, we can settle it in PM, but please do not flame me in public like that. That is quite rude and uncalled for.

The NY comment as also a common stereotype. I've found people from NY state to be quite friendly. PA people can be friendly. Some of them are, some of them aren't, like most places. But I have found the people here in PA are two-faced. They lie alot and gossip more about a person than any other place I have lived. It must be that small-town setup throughout most of the state that is the leading contributor to that behavior

uhhh...why?
Too much effort for me, but whatever floats your boat.

I think JerseyShel was saying she liked our friendliness in Pa.
Its here for sure, and all around us. I have been here 13 years and it still amazes me.
I've talked for hours to people I hardly know at all. Everyone wants to talk, and enjoy your company in Pa. That is one of our great assets. Someone will stop to help you, that is a given.
They will come up to you, at a bad time of your life........like when I had to put my dog to sleep, and say " they are sorry." Bless you sweet lady. ( I Love You, Pa. people)
Grammer, well.......English is one of my favorite subjects. But, there is a certain unique way of writing on the internet that most accept. ( Some just don't)
I can write a proper letter if I choose to. On here I feel a bit more loose and relaxed.
I don't want to be all that correct and proper here, I will save it for a written letter on nice stationary. LOL
I havn't read the entire thread. But, is the fuss over "our friendliness" ........is that how it started?

OK, since you had to give me a red dot, you are forcing me to play your game.
I NEVER flamed/bashed anyone about their grammar or what they think of Pa. Where do you see that??? Oh, you don't!! And you have the nerve to give me a red dot and accuse me of posts that another poster made.

I did not flame you in public, I merely was pointing out that if you bothered to read the thread you would have realized it was not another "I hate Pa" post like the one's you are famous for.

The NY comment being a common stereotype...yeah, I know, that's why I said it. Because you frequently like to streotype Pa. folks. Did you think I would make fun of my own husband??

Displaying your disdain in public as a result of disapproving of your post is quite immature and chldish. You picked me out and started flaming me, going as far to say "I hope the moderators are watching you".

I said nothing that was worthy of an infraction in that post. I've said all I had to say on this matter. I know how you work. I've seen your posts. You flame anyone who has something critical to say about PA. It is not very becoming of the PA forum for you to do that.

Unlike you, reputation doesn't bother me. I don't make a spectacle of one red dot. I disapproved of your post, and I let you know about it. What's the problem?

Not very becoming for me to come to the defense of the character of Pa residents?? I don't see how that is flaming. I think you have even admitted that in other posts and have acknowledged that you **** people off in your state forum. Why do you come here to **** people off??
You started off being hostile to me. The only person I seem to **** off is you.

I started a thread about the recent snow here in Northeast Pa. Your comment is "Isn't there a weather forum..." I was discussing the weather of Northeast Pa. I disapproved of your comment like you dissapproved of mine.
Well, isn't there a weather forum? What does having a dusting of snow have to do with moving to a state?

Quote:
And by the way...I don't care about the red dot either
Apparently you do, since you keep talking about it

I believe I've dealt with your hostility before. Geez, PA people are uptight. Move somewhere else dude, there are much better places to live

Just forget about and I will forgive you. Can you back up off me now?

Oh yeah.... and I still hate PA

Calm down or the thread will be closed and infractions will follow.
