CHristmas light display
I have heard several people speak of a town in Pennsylvania that is very Christmas orientated. It lights up the entire town and is a beautiful setting. Someone said Bethlem, some people said other towns, does anyone know what I am talking about? Thanks for anyone that can help

Bethlehem is very nice but I wonder if this is what you meant: Koziar's Christmas Village Welcomes You! Someone mentioned it to me last year and I remember thinking it would be fun to go to. If not, google, "Pennsylvania Christmas displays" and see what you find. And then tell us!

You would probably love both places. The Christmas Village is so neat - my kids beg to go there each year.
I also love visiting Bethlehem during this season. Christkindlmarkt is really cool: Christmas City - Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem
The Moravian Book Shop is another favorite stop of ours.

Gring's Mill, berk's County in Wyomissing( or maybe Spring Township) also does a light display. Hershey Pa. does a fantastic one too. Bethlehem as well. Koziar's in Bern twp. Berks is one of the best in the country, also the oldest.

Thanks for the great ideas. I think I might try to get the hubby to go to Hershey, it is only an hour and a half from here, so why not right!!! I am going to check out the other sites too, not sure how far bethlehem is from me, I will be googling

Don't forget Allentown's Lights in the Parkway -- was an annual tradition for us to visit.

another christmas lights suggestion
I read in a Queens, NY parent magazine about Longwood Gardens light display that sounds beautiful. The website is longwoodgardens.org. You can watch ice skating shows there, too.
If anyone knows of any going west on 80 thruogh PA please post. I did see the Bethlehem suggestion. Thank you for posting that. I'm going to check that out

Check this thread http://www.city-data.com/forum/north...boulevard.html for some ideas in NE PA near I-80. Berwick is about 10 miles north and Bloomsburg is the same south.
