Default Special education in Bucks County

My husband and I are interested in moving from South Florida to the Doylestown area. We have a 4th grader with mild PDD, auditory processing and ADHD. He is currently in a private special education school in South Florida, but if we moved he would probably go back to special ed in public school. Does anyone have experience with similar needs? How is Bucks county to work with and educate these kind of children?

I don't know but want to wish you well. I do know that Bucks county has an excellent rep for good education-I would imagine their special ed is the same. I live in Newtown for a few years and LOVED it there.
Good Luck!
ps: I would call around and ask the schools on their programs. Ask if you can come visit and take a tour.

Did you wind up moving to the Doylestown area? If so, did you find an appropriate school for your child?

This move was put on hold for a number of personal reasons, however, we are considering it once again. I need to begin the research process, job search, etc.
