I used my landscape software to see what it might look like when we move in and get the gardens going!

The siding isn't going to be that color though. It will be a clay color and have green shutters.

Be sure and select shrubs and plants that are deer resistant. It looks nice though.

Yes, I know!!!! My parents live in Millstone NJ and the deer eat everything!

The little soap sachets do not work at keeping them away!

Neither does hanging up old computer disks, bars of soap, hot pepper spray concoctions etc. Been there, done that. Just do some research. Deer prefer some plants over others. It doesn't mean they won't munch on everything during a bad winter when food is scarce ....then they will nibble anything and everything. But you can save yourself a little aggravation if you don't plant their favorite foods.

That is so true. I will have to talk to my garden friends and get some of the plants that deer don't like!
