Default Phoenixville area safe from crime prospective

Hi

We are moving from Horsham PA to Malvern PA.
rentals are so expensive in Malvern and I found out couple of good cheap apartments for rentals in Phoenixville.

I just want to know ,how this suburb is from safety prospective because, my wife is gonna be at home for all time.

Really appreciate this forum.

Looking to move asap so pls respond

Thanks
Abhi

Where in P-Ville are you looking? I don't see the Boro having lots of crime problems, except maybe for a few sections. P-Ville is experiencing a sort of renaissance, with it said that someday it might be the Manayunk of Chester County. I can't see your wife having problems staying at home by herself, I really can't, although nowhere is ever 100% safe.

Can you spend a weekend visiting the town? Drive around the neighborhoods. check the crime section in the local paper. go to the coffee shop and ask the locals or how about the chamber of commerce? just some ideas. Good luck!
