There are alot of nice homes on the mls in Fawn Lake. We haven't been through there though. We just purchased a piece of property in Tink-Wig which is in Lackawaxen, Pa. in Pike County. The Wayne/Pike county area is beautiful!

We were also looking in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. That was a really beautiful area. We wanted a place with some activities for the kids...

It is nice in WLE. You can get a home on a 1/2 acre or even more in there.

We have a bid in for a small "chalet" (I love that word), we're keeping our fingers crossed. We just started looking around at other places (Fawn Lake Forest) in case this falls through.

We were in NE PA a few weeks ago and "tripped" over Sky VIew Lake Estates in Greentown. It was beautiful with a real neighborhood appeal. Coming back next weekend to look at more communities (seems like we shouldn't settle for the first community we like.) Planning to look at Tink-Wig (that's where Bamboosmom is relocating to)and Sugar Hill Estates. Have to do some more research about a few more communities. If anyone has any good info about nice communities to consider, please let me know. Thanks!

Fawn Lake forest is really a nice homeowner community. I recently wrote an article about it in my blog. Lots of amenities, and in my opinion, you get a good deal of "bang for your buck" there.

That area is a very nice area. You can get a good deal in Fawn Lake.
