Default Catholic Schools in Lancaster Area??

Does anyone know if the Catholic schools around the Lancaster area are better than, equal to or worse than the public schools? Thanks!

I live in Harrisburg PA. about a 45 minute drive northwest of lancaster. I attended Catholic schools my whole life here. our school here was pretty average for a private school 2500 per year. Lancaster has Sacred Heart parish and they have an high school called Lancaster Catholic High School. They usually are okay for being privately funded. their basketball team is pretty good, and they have a pretty decent rate of graduation. it is mostly white with some spanish and tiny vietnamese and black community. But just like any school anywhere there are drugs and alcohol. It is not bad as public schools, but still it is a minor problem. Lancaster City is okay, ocasionally they have murder, but its almost always drug related. The public schools there have probation and truancy officers and metal detectors and lots of disciplinary problems, however catholic schools usually dont have that. hope i helped. ~Dan~ www.-lchs-yes.org (broken link) <--- go there.....
