Much of Bucks County is characterized by historic towns and small town/ suburb/rural areas. Numerous farms are still found there. Some of Pennsylvania's oldest homes are there. Philadelphia commuters as well as many folks from N.Y.C (weekend retreats) live there. It's just below Lehigh and Northampton Counties. Taxes are generally a bit higher there than just north, but the gap seems to be narrowing.
