Thank you R J for adding the link to your post...sure is disappointing to hear any business going bankrupt. Hopefully, all that were affected have ample time to find jobs.

I am sorry judd I do not know where that business is ..hopefully you find out soon so you do not have to worry about paying that additional fee again.

There is a building in Selinsgrove's industrial park near the race track that has about ten smaller businesses in it. Some are foods, but perhaps that's where this Envi product is. You could call the Borough office and ask them, or if I think of it I'll try to find out more soon.

Thanks Dawne, it's curious to me because the companies selling these products in Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts are always sold out, and it seems odd that this company would not "make itself known" locally but I was told by the distributor they intentionally do not advertise in PA, why would that be? To keep the price up? That doesn't sound very environmentally friendly to me!!!

Didn't want to start a new thread for this and figured we discuss local things in here.......I drove by the spot in Lewisburg where the new A&W/Long John Silvers is going in and it appeared there was two small buildings being constructed. I know they usally split those type of places in one building. Is there something else going next door or will there be two small buildings for each one?

Wow, looks like some craziness in Sunbury this weekend:

Think I've found the answer to my post above. Looks like they have been advertising for hiring and they have Long John Silvers and A&W/Donut Connection. Guess that will be the two small buildings now being constructed. I thought it would have been like the one in State College where the LJS and A&W were together......not sure if I've heard of a Donut Connection before (something makes me think I've seen the name somewhere I've traveled recently).

The owner of Donut Connection used to own Mr. Donut until he sold it to Dunkin Donuts. I prefer D.C. over Dunkin. There was a Donut Connection in the 4th Street Plaza in Sunbury until a few years ago when they closed.

Thanks susquehannock, that may be where I'm recalling the name. I can slightly remember it being there now in my mind. Many cool places I miss from that little plaza there.......the little newspaper place and Ames mostly.

Wasn't there a little dounut shop for a while that you could see when coming off the Sunbury bridge too? I always wanted to stop in as I think they advertised maple donuts but never did

I see that the little ice cream place on the back roads in back of shamokin dam is up for sale again too Think it's called Nanny Tutu's? I was hoping it would survive as I love little businesses like them. Nothing ever seems to last long at that location for long.

You can still see the one coming off the bridge but I don't know if it's open. I can't think of the name of it.

Is the ice cream place in the old schoolhouse on the corner? I didn't even know the place existed until when I read it this morning.

Yep the ice cream place is in the old schoolhouse (corner of park road and fisher road). Pretty bummed to see it is up for sale again. There has seemd to be many things that have come and gone in that spot over the years. They still appear to be open but the for sale sign went up last week or the week before I believe.

Thanks. I thought that was the location. There used to be a vitamin/supplement store there at one time too.

It's not a very good location. I think that is the reason nothing lasts.
