Not sure what you mean by Sunbury for food. We didn't mention any Sunbury restaurants About Ruby Tuesday,I just had a friend say that something is happening there we'll have to wait and see

Susquehannock mentioned running to Sunbury or Lewisburg for good pizza. I agree with whoever said Amato's. Mancino's in the mall was good too, but now they're gone and replaced by the Golden Wok (I'm not a fan of Asian food).

Keep us posted on the Ruby Tuesday location. Keeping fingers crossed for something good!

I wonder what will happen with the old 4 Seasons restaurant.

Rumor has it that a AArons is whats going in at the old Rag shop. Still waiting for Golden Grill and Buffet to open. The new Social Security building has its frame up at the Susquehanna Valley Mall. Also, the old Susquehanna bank across from Long John Silvers is being refurbished into a Mifflinburg Bank and Trust. Not any word yet on the Olive Garden yet. Hope to see more construction on the strip. Just wished there could be more liquor licenses issued. I don't drink but thats what is keeping a lot of good restaurants from coming in on the strip. Just my honest opinion here. More updates as I hear them.

tried the new golden grill and buffet. was not very good at all. i wouldn't recommend it. I have heard several people say they went in looked at the food and left. i definately won't go back. that's too bad. we need somewhere new to go. I was very excited about this opening, now i am dissapointed.

I've been to Emma's maybe 3x now and always impressed. (I guess that doesn't count as "on the strip" though.) How are they doing?

Emma's is great and doing well. Emma is also very involved with the whole downtown Selinsgrove and is coordinating the "new" Farmer's Market on the Commons on Saturday mornings and afternoons.

I'll post my review of Golden Grill (where we ate last night) on the "On the Strip in Selinsgrove" thread.

Default monroe market place

It seems to me, that it is almost as dangerous driving in the Monroe Market Place as it is driving on the strip. Narrow lanes, poorly marked turning lanes and people driving much to fast.

I'll agree it is a bit confusing, especially at first. Once you've been in a few times it's much better - then you just have to watch out for the other people who are there for the first time.

Anyone have any news on a Logan's or some sort of restaurant going in there yet? I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

On September 9Th, there will be a variance meeting in Shamokin Dam about a property at 2577 North Susquehanna Trail. Its in response of a drive-in type structure being built that will be in front of the Establishment building. This is being asked for by Sonic Drive-Ins. So if passed this will be another restaurant in the area. Hopefully this will push for the rumored Olive Garden or Logan's Roadhouse. If hear anymore information will post.
