dmagru is on a distinguished road
Did anyone see Sunday's daily item in the deed's section. That PR Monroe, PR Monroe Limited Partnership and PREIT has sold land to Outer Banks Limited Partnership for $2,800,000. Wondering what is going to be built and what the partnership is up to at Monroe Marketplace. Hopefully its the rumored Olive Garden that was suppose to go into the area. We need some decent named brand restaurants in Snyder County. Since there are now two liquor license's available held by two different lawyers. Maybe a chain restaurant can buy one of the license's and build. Hope to see if someone can find out what the deed sale is all about.

That's an incredibly large amount of money for a restaurant. Are you sure it was just land and not buildings. Sometimes one entity will build something and then sell it to someone else. I think the old Wal-Mart in Lewisburg did that when it was still open. It has something to do with tax write-offs for renting versus owning a property.

Anyway, I do hope you're right about an Olive Garden, or even a great steak house, like Lone Star or Logan's Roadhouse would be most welcome in this area!!
