I wonder how many travelers know that the gas pumps are there? You can barely see them from the road unless you're really looking for them.

Even though I pass by the Marketplace at least twice a day, it's still way too inconvenient for me go through the gauntlet to get to the gas pumps or buy a gallon a milk at Giant.

Smile Approved License

The board for Hummel's wharf, Monroe township approved the transfer of the liqueur license into the township for Longhorns restaurant. Vote was 2 for it and 1 against. The one against said that it would not be a family friendly restaurant if it served liqueur. I guess this township person must have never ate at a Longhorns or maybe at Red Robins which serves liqueur and have kids there all the time. Also, was at Olive Garden in Williamsport tonight and was talking to server at our table. We all said we wished they would build a Oliver Garden in Selinsgrove area and he said that he heard at the restaurant they are seriously looking at putting one in the area. Only if it was true. I would visit it at least once a week. Well still no word on the Sonic yet, but maybe as the Economy gets better it will be done.

I gotta admit I'm not too excited about Longhorn's coming in. They seem a bit expensive and I'm a cheapie sometimes And please no Olive Garden......give us a Red Lobster!

I've been lagging in trying some new places lately and need to get out and try Sorella's, Rocco's Pizza, and the Golden Chopsticks buffet.

I don't know if I can do this or not, so if not, moderator, please delete this post.

I have cards that my son's Little League team is selling. You can use them twice and they cost $10 each. You get one menu item free when you purchase a more expensive menu item. I have one for Sorella and two for Rocco's.

Let me know if you'd like one or more and we can make arrangements for payment and delivery.

Again, if this isn't allowed, moderator please delete, and accept my apologies.

I have moved away from the area after graduating from SU in 1997 and only get back to see my parents and in-laws every now and then, so my question is this..... where is this Pepper Tree restaurant that you all are talking about?

Is this located in the new Monroe Marketplace? I heard rumors a few years ago that the previous owners of Biff-Burger, Linda & Cammy, were thinking about opening up a new place and serving items similar to the ole Biff-Burger.

You all need to help me out here so I can confirm what I am reading in this post so that I can post this Pepper Tree place on biff-burger.com website as a place to get burger similar to the ole biff.

Is this Piff-burger similar to a Super Biff or a regular biff? What is on it? Any sauce? ... I see I need to make a trip home again, once I find out where in the heck this place is located at! Biffs beat a "Bunny Burger" from the Red Rabbit any day......

Thanks

The Pepper Tree is on 522 across from Susquehanna RV. The Piff-burger is the size of a Super Biff but if you want anything other than the Biff sauce on it, you have to pay extra

Awesome.... I will be checking this Pepper place out!

Will be interesting to see how their sauce taste compared to the sauce used at Biff. I know, either Linda or Cammie (previous owners), still make small batches of the Biff sauce for those people that know them.

Now I wonder where can I get a "curled" dog!
Thanks,

C, you may remember the Pepper Tree when it used to be in the little plaza next to West Coast Video and a liquor store in downtown Selinsgrove just off of Market Street. I know it was there in the 1990s. It moved out to Route 522, as LeeMar said, probably after you graduated from SU. I can't remember the exact year.

As a note, they're only open for breakfast and lunch - not at suppertime.

If your cheap then Red Lobster is out of budget as well.
