Agreed, they have cut out doors and windows in the cinderblock and there is already a dividing wall up inside so who knows.

Perhaps Panera is taking over the old Ruby Tuesday's?

I heard from someone that the Panera Bread that was supposed to be coming in at the former Ruby Tuesday's (or around there somewhere) might be on hold due to some right of way access issues from a neighbor. Not sure if that is true or not, but I do know that Monroe Marketplace is bidding to have a new store soon. Brace yourself, TJMaxx! My wife is thrilled because the closest one we shop at is in Wilke-Barre when we visit my in-laws. The new FitOut will supposedly be located in the currently vacant lot between Bed Bath & Beyond and Target. Yeah for local business revenue!

I would love a TJ Maxx and a Marshalls but that may just be among the rumor mill such as Burlington was with Value City building. They never did come in but I did hear Big Lots was looking at that. I wish I had the capital to open up a Jamba Juice right next to the Dollar Tree and make myself ALOT of MONEY as folks come out of PF - me being one of them. What a place for a smoothie bar!

I stopped at the old SuperPetz store. Med Express is opening 5/10. Two other stores are opening too, one being Aspen Dental. No one knew what the other one was going to be. They said that Panera Bread was going to be built behind the old Ruby Tuesday.............Lee

LeeMar- I did hear that Panera was back on now and that the right of was issues are hopefully resolved. No word on when that could be bidding yet.

TjMaxx was bid on the 27th of April. The plans are to make it a new build connected to Bed Bath and Beyond next to Target in the currently vacant lot in MM.

I also heard from a neighbor that Mr. Sticky's was in town looking at the former Brewer's Cafe/former Sorella in the strip mall adjacent to Wal-Mart. I did see a truck parked in front of Value City advertising for them last week so who knows?!

Speaking of Wal-Mart, The plans for the new Super Wal-Mart are currently set to bid on the 16th of May. The new store I guess will be an Expansion to the existing store. I'm but not overly thrilled with Wal-Mart but I'm happy to see businesses coming in again on the strip.
