Default Apartments near LECOM

I am moving to Erie in June or July with my brother. He will be going to LECOM, and I will be going to Penn State. I live in Houston, Tx and do not have the time or resources to visit Erie before I move, so we will basically be leasing without looking.

Does anybody have any advice as far as where to stay?

We are looking for a 2 bedroom or maybe even a 3 bedroom (to turn into a study.) I would like it to have 2 bathrooms because my brother is a slob, but 1 and a half or even 1 is OK. It's important for the apartment to be within 5 miles from LECOM, and we can spend about $800 a month.

I have found some that meet the criteria online, but all I have is floorplans and pics. Any advice would be wonderful! We are considering Vineyard Village townhomes, Lakeview Townhomes, and Landmark Square. Please let me know what you think about these and other apartments/townhomes that I did not mention.

Thanks!

Hope this response is not too late. It may be worth your while to contact Pastore Bros. They do a lot of new construction, but also have a wide variety of rentals available.

AButler:
Here is some additional information:
Pastore 814 838-9640
Granada Apts. 838-4681
Kearsarge Place 866-1714
Baldwin Bros. 454-4541
These, as well as some others, should have buildings in the general area you are looking, and should have aprtments that meet your needs. I'm not sure if the rental rates fall within your limitations.
