Default Areas/Neighborhoods in Central Bucks school district

I will be moving to Bucks County with my family and would like to purchase a home in the Central Bucks school district--we have two kids, ages 7 and 11. The areas that are zoned for Central Bucks East High School are too expensive. Any advice about the different areas/neighborhoods that feed into CB West and South high schools, i.e.: Chalfont, Warrington, New Britain, Jamison, Doylestown, etc.? What are the plusses and minuses of these different areas? Thanks so much!

Doylestown is a great small town. Has a center, shops, restaurants, etc. I'd think it's the best bet - but I grew up in a major city.
The other areas are fine too...just more suburban/rural. Depends what you really like & maybe consider your commute time to jobs as well as schools.
