Default I don't want to live in NJ

My husband and I were both raised in the Lehigh Valley. We live in MA now and love it but must move because of a job change. We lived, a long time ago near the Main Line before moving to MA. Unfortunately, my husband's new office is in West Orange, NJ with clients in north Jersey. My geography is not that good. Is there any place in PA where we could live and still do that commute to north Jersey?

Your three options will be the Pocono Mountains, Lehigh Valley, or Bucks County. The Lehigh Valley offers probably the most convenient shot via I-78 through Jersey, but housing prices here are also rising very rapidly with the sprawl. Bucks County and the Poconos are also growing very quickly as well.

Hi,
We are in a similiar situation. We are actually in PA. now and moving to NJ as my husband's HQ will be in Newark. We are looking in eastern Hunterdon Co. As far as staying in PA., you could try around the Poconos or Bucks Co. however, the commute will be long! Just from the information we have gathered, the commute in on I-80 seems much worse than I-78. That is what has been relayed to us. Hope that helps.
