According to a new report by Nationwide that examines the housing markets in the nation’s 400 metropolitan areas, Erie’s is the 10th healthiest on a list led by Johnstown.

The leaders are a group dominated by Pennsylvania. Chambersburg-Waynesboro ranks sixth, followed by Pittsburgh at seventh and Harrisburg-Carlisle in ninth.

I don't know much about the Johnstown market, but the Erie market has been pretty healthy lately and several houses are selling quickly and at or slightly below asking price.
