Default Shipping a few items from Phila to CA

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. Does anyone know how I can ship a few large items from Philadelphia to California? My daughter lives out there and I would like to ship her an antique desk, a chair and maybe a couple of other large items. I called a mover and their price was VERY expensive. Any ideas?
Thanks

Deborah, UPS, FedEX and other private shippers can send your items. I'm sure it will still be expensive, but cheaper than a moving company.

It may also be a good idea to take pictures of each item prior to shipping in the event they are accidently damaged during transit.
