Default Relocating:looking for great schools, safe place to live between Lancaster and Wyomissing????

We are relocating and my knew job will be in Wyomissing, Although this seems like a great place to live it is a bit out of our price range. We would like to find other great places to live that also have great schools between Lancaster and Wyomissing close to rte 222. We are trying to stay within a 30 minute commute to Wyomissing. Thanks for your help.

That's more Southeastern/Southcentral PA. This subforum covers NE PA, which is mainly Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and the Poconos and surrounding areas. You'd probably get a more accurate response in the main PA forum.

You could try...

In Berks County, close to 222 and 422:
Conrad Weiser, Wilson Or Governor Mifflin School Districts
Towns of Wernersville, Robesonia, Womelsdorf
Sinking Spring, Mohnton, Shillington; Spring, Cumru, or Brecknock (Berks) townships

In Lancaster County,
convenient to 222 and PA Turnpike:
Cocalico or Ephrata School District
Towns of Reinholds, Reamstown, Denver, Adamstown, Ephrata, Akron; townships of West Cocalico, East Cocalico, Brecknock? (Lancaster), could be Eastern Lancaster SD, which is getting farther from your desired closeness to Wyomissing.

Default looking for a place?

Look on Craigslist !- I have an ad posted for a 2br. condo in Wyomissing Right across from Home Depot, a Movie theatre, a shopping mall and it's really, really nice.

I use to rent to college students because Penn state is down the block, but I prefer a family. College kids really don't take advantage of the town, it's very pretty and has lots of great shopping. It even has infamous antique/flea markets off Route 222 each weekend. Definitely worth the trip!
