Default Comparison of salaries between two cities

We presently live in NJ and thinking of moving to Pa. We are considering Lehigh Valley or Lewisburg. My question is about pay scale. My husband does air conditioning and heating installation and repairs. I was wondering if there would be a huge difference in pay between the two areas. Lehigh being so close to NJ, I would imagine it would be better??? Anyone ever work in these two areas and have any clue. I have tried to do research, but salaries are not always printed in adds and I really don't always believe the salary calculators.

If your husband were to start his own business he could set his own pricing. In Lewisburg I think (based on my husband's experience about 8 years ago in this field) that someone in HVAC would expect to make between $10 and $15 an hour working for someone else. HTH

You also have to take into account standard of living costs. PA in generaly costs less than most of the surrounding states. Before making straight pay comparisons, take that into consideration.
