Default Going nuts can't decide

Dont know if it is cold feet or what but we aqre going to finally buy our first home. I hate Philly but dont want to move too far. Our considerations right now are Glenolden, Brookhaven, Maybe Norwood. I love the homes in drexel hill but the taxes are too high.
Are those areas a good idea?

From what Ive heard, Taxes for homes are much higher in the Delaware county. So all of Drexel Hill, Glenolden, Brookhaven and more will have a big tax lump. However, if you go towards Chester County, the taxes get slashed. There are quite a few corporates based out of there, and thus taking the load off residents. One of the lowest tax rate is East Goshen township in West Chester - great downtown, beautiful homes, & 14% tax rate!

West chester would be nice but out of our price range and also we are trying to keep the commute to a minimum. Husband works in Cherry Hill. Jersey taxes ruled out a jersey move for us although some areas were nice.
