Default Any Brackenridge's Here??

Hi, our names are Lisa & Christopher Brackenridge and we are looking to contact anyone who shares the same surname. We always thought our surname was very uncommon - but then one day Lisa discovered that there is infact a town named after our surname!!! bizarre!!
We would love to trace out family tree and speak to people who share the same surname, who are also interested in researcing the family history!
Please get back to us asap, we would be very grateful!! Thanks...

My name is Jeff Brackenridge, though I do not live anywhwere near Glasgow. I am from Texas, but currently living near Trier, Germany. There are a few Brackenridge's still in Texas, most near Austin and San Antonio, but the majority can be found in Pennsylvania. I have not made any connection to any other prominent Brackenridge's out there, but there has to be one of us who has done something of noteworthyness. My sister-in-law, who is not a Brackenridge, does live in Scottland, however, in Edinborough.
