In about 5 years my husband and I would like to move to one of these counties. Saw online there is alot of farmland there for sale and good prices. Live in Luzerne County now and want to get out. Live in Mountaintop and HATE it there. My husband lived all his life there and I am from Nanticoke. People in Mountaintop very unfriendly especially to childless couples. So we figured better to move out more in the country when we retire. Want to hear from people living there already how you like it. Want peace and quiet but would love to make friends with other childless couples. We are in our 50's right now and I am already retired. We are looking to buy 20 acres or more. We are going to be checking out land this summer.
