Default Washington County Pa

Right now we are living in Weirton Wva. But have been planing on moving back to Pgh Pa.

But Pgh is talking about merging all counties in Allegheny and making it all city of Pgh and get rid of Allegheny. Alot of counties are not up for it and many are. My concern is that the prices will go up pretty high and we don't want to be in the middle of the merge.

So we thought of Washington County Pa. Not too far from Pgh right at the border of Allegheny County. My family as well as my husband's family all live in Pgh. We both work in Greentree (Pgh) to be exact. So we do drive a bit over an hour to get to work and from so that is not a problem at all.

Any good areas in Washington County Pa that the drive is not any more than an hour to and from work.

Greentree area? To keep it within an hour or so drive you'd probably narrow your search area to...

I-70 & I-79 at Washington, no more than a few exits along I-70 east or west. Also along I-79 north from Washington down to the Allegheny line. That puts you in Canonsburg, Houston, Meadowlands and so on. Route 19 might be something to consider if you learn how to connect over to 79.

All depends on what your needs and desires are of course but there's something for everyone on that end of Washington County.

Yeah that is where my work is. Greentree is just off of 79 near Parkway Center Mall. Not far from Washington Pa exit either.

I have thought of Cannonsburgh, Cicil Twp, McDonald Pa as well.
