If I'm thinking correctly, Bushkill is near Stroudsburg. Strasburg is near Lancaster. Stroudsburg and Bushkill are near I-80 at the PA/NJ border.

Which did you mean?

Actually, to make this answer quick, I think both areas (Stroudsburg and Strasburg) are just fine, but maybe someone else has some insight.

I've only visited Bushkill, never lived there before, but it seems pretty quiet to me. I can't imagine your children would be in any grave danger - unless it's from bears.

The Bushkill are is a beautiful area visually, but beware, it is also home to some of the most notorius developments in the Poconos. Drugs are a very big problem (as with most anywhere) but if your looking for racial diversity you wont find it here, please check for yourself!
