Lancaster County - Pro's & Con's? your opinion please
Hi everybody!
Can you help us out? In your opinion what are some of the Pros & Cons of life in Lancaster County?
Subjects like
Crime
Property taxes
Car Insurance
Schools
Housing costs
Job Market
The people
Weather
Utility prices
Police/fire
Flooding? Any issues there?
If i forgot anything then please add!

1) there was only 7 hours between your posts. At minimum for accurate and helpful posts, usually takes 1-3 days.
2)I don't really know that much about lancaster to be of assistance.

It would also help to narrow your search a little. LanCo is a very large county with variances abounding. I could help you with the southern end but you are probably looking elseware. Also check other queries as other areas have been explained extensively.

I was curious about Lancaster county
1) Is this rural or suburban?
-Is it undergoing intensive developement?
-If suburban...where do the people commute?
2) From what I have heard it appears most see this as a rural county more close to Baltimore.
-If so...why...since it is near Philly which is a large market and in the state?
-How come Philly's suburbs don't extend this far for such a large market?
3) What is the area's general allegiance to?
-Is it to Philly, Pittsburgh, and PA or to Baltimore or both?
4) What TV stations do you get?
-Why do you get FSN PIT since PIT is really far?
5) What sports teams do people root?
