Default Chester County PA.. what are the best towns/schools etc.

Hey all,

Okay.. so what are some of teh best SD's and towns in Chester County PA to live in. I had been considering Lititz Manheim, but we want to be a little closer to NY than Lancaster would leave us.. so looking at Chester, Deleware and Bucks.

This thread is about Chester.. but if you have input on the other two I mentioned, please share!

Thank you

I should add that we are not lookint to live in a very populated city.. more like a small town but near big town things..if you know what I mean. We don't want another Long island , in other words.

The 3 best school districts in Chester County are

1.Tredyffrin-Easttown: Towns include Berwyn,Paoli,Devon,Daylesford,Chesterbrook,Straffo rd,and Wayne.

2.Unionville-Chadds Ford: Towns include Unionville,Chadds Ford,Pocopson

3.Great Valley-Malvern,Charlestown,Sugartown,Willistown,East Whiteland,Chester Valley.

The Downingtown + West Chester areas have solid school districts and are great areas to live, especially West Chester. But the 3 school districts above are 3 of the best in all of Pennsylvania if you are looking for challenging schools.

Does anyone have any insights into the cathlic schools in Chester or Delaware county? I'm considering a move to PA that will allow me to commute to Newark, DE. Thank you!
