Default Diversity in Beaver Falls/Chippewa/Monaca/Beaver area

Hi,

My family and I are considering moving to the Beaver Falls/Chippewa/Monaca/Beaver Pennsylvania area. We were wondering what are the best areas and school systems for supporting diversity. Most of my family currently lives in southern Illinois where there has been a lot of hatred for anyone who is different. I was wondering what the communities around these areas were like. Are they supportive and accepting of different ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and cultures? Our daughter is getting ready to start school soon and I would like her to go to school in a more tolerant atmosphere. Any advice or insights would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about Monaca or Beaver; Beaver Falls has a large African-American population. Chippewa does not. You can look up the stats on CD. Blackhawk HS in Chippewa has about a 2% black student body, 98% white.

Default Beaver Falls High School

My family moved from Blackhawk school district to city of Beaver Falls to be in a more diverse school for our kids and we have no regrets. It's a good school district and has many supportive teachers. I'd recommend it.
