Question Dutch Wonderland vs. Sesame Place

Need some advice - We have 19 month old twin boys and want to have a "family getaway". We were thinking either Dutch Wonderland or Sesame Place.

We are looking for people who have been to either or both and wonder for the age of our boys which is the better choice for their age.

Which offers better rides and play area for them, reasonable priced (any coupons you can point me to would also be appreciated) and giving them a fully day of fun

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Here are the sites..
Sesame Place
Dutch Wonderland A Kingdom for Kids
The Pennsylvania Dutch Country / Lancaster County, PA Welcome Center
Things to do in Lancaster, PA & Lancaster Attractions . - Yahoo! Travel
Hershey, Pennsylvania - The Sweetest Place on Earth
Visit the Antique Auto Museum at Hershey, Pennsylvania

I liked Dutch wonderland better because there is more things to do around the
area such as a variety of restaurants, shopping outlets, places to stay.
sesame place is nice, but not much around that area...just my preference..
hope the info helps..

Both are nice places. Sesame Place can be unbearably hot. Very few areas of shade. Dutch Wonderland kept their old trees for shade. Both are very similar, both have water areas and rides. Sesame Place has a daily parade of characters.

Sesame place without a doubt for that age. They have padded play areas and padded pools. Didn't use the Dutch Wonderland water park but the rides are definitely older and don't have the padding or the nylon clip type seat belt restraints that Sesame Places rides have; for example, the whip at Dutch Wonderland had a big leather strap and buckle for 2 kids, no padding...I was afraid my 2 year old was going to fall out or smack his head on the hard inside of the ride. Not that your kids would go alone at this age but keep that in mind for the future. If your kids watch Sesame Street at all, the characters, shows and parade also make Sesame Place a no brainer.

If I could only go to one, I would choose Sesame Place and we live 40 minutes from Dutch Wonderland! Can you tell I wasn't impressed?

There are many things to do in Lancaster besides Dutch Wonderland but the whole city of Philadelphia is 30 minutes away from Sesame Place so I see that as a wash.

Sesame is great and so is Dutch wonderland! Sesame can get hot in July though, otherwise they are fantastic!
