Default Info. about South Lebanon/Cornwall

Any opinions about the S. Lebanon/Cornwall area would be greatly appreciated. My husband will taking a job at the VA in Lebanon, and we will be relocating to the area. I was looking into Lititz/Manheim as well, but thought I'd look into Lebanon County a little more. We don't want to be in Lebanon itself, but how are the outskirts? I was looking specifically at some new construction by Landmark Builders, and the Creekside development. Any thoughts about this builder, or development? "On paper" the Lebanon-Cornwall schools look good. Is this a nice area to raise a young family, with good schools, safe streets, and friendly people? Thanks in advance, for your input.

I went to the Cornwall/Lebanon School District when I grew up there, and it was an excellent school district--deffinitly one of the best in the area. I loved it. Stay away from Lebanon city, but the outskirts are very nice. I grew up in the Cornwall area and I have no complaints...its between manheim and lebanon, so there are many things to do. I hope this was helpfun! Good luck!

They had a big ruckous over a new Wal Mart that was to be built in Cornwall. From what I understand it was a done deal and might be under contstruction now. Traffic concerns were a big issue. Its a nice rural area, easy commute into Lancaster County and also not far from Berks County.
