Default Smoking ban Poll

If you are non-PA resident I kindly ask that you refrain from voting.

There's two ongoing threads, a short one here in the Pennsylvania forum and a much longer one in the Northeastern Pennsylvania forum currently at 23 pages discussing the pros and cons of the smoking ban to go into effect in Pennsylvania shortly. I'll suggest leaving the discussion out of this thread and make your thoughts know in the others. Neither is a poll which is why I'm starting this one.

Looks like 4-2 in favor of the current ban or a stronger ban, so far.

I approve of the ban. I dread heading to my favorite local establishments only to leave smelling like an ashtray due to the inability of smokers to keep their odorous exhaust to themselves.

Don't worry, I won't vote! I will say, PA's "ban" is less strict than CO's, which basically bans all smoking in business establishments except the casions and the smoking lounge at Denver International Airport.

Well, it looks like more people support a ban than oppose it.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Well I wouldn't consider it a complete victory the legislation leaves some freedoms intact for some venues which is what most people are favoring.
