Great pictures and I really enjoyed looking at them. I am originally from Northern CA, however went to school with a gal, whose whole family was originally from the Johnstown area and in approx 1962 when they did vacation in Johnstown I came with and thoroughly enjoyed the trip and met her Aunt and Uncle who owned the local music store...their names were Bert and Bill Weiser and a few years later when I left CA to work for the Gov't in Wash DC, I spent several holidays with the Weisers as they didn't want me to be by myself over the holidays. They took me to some really neat places that I've never forgotten such as Rolling Rock Horse Farms, Ft Liqorneer(sp) and a really great restaurant that was actually a buffet, but the waitresses brought the food to you, all 32 different items. The name was Ericalinis and I know that I probably didn't spell that correctly. I very fond memories of my time spent in Johnstown. Last time I was there was about 8 years ago when I met my friend there to bury her Mother at Mt Hope Cemetary and I couldn't believe how much the town had changed. Again, thanks for bringing back some nice memories.
