My father William Henry Vickers, from Elkview West Virginia, stayed in a boarding house in Oil City, PA around 1935, while working, driving a truck. He fathered a daugher with 'Thelma' who was the daughter of the owner of the boarding house. My father had red hair and fair skin, very personable, in his early 20's. The baby girl had red hair, as the story goes. This is all our mother remembers or wants to share with us. Dad married mom and had 5 children. He passed away more than 20 yrs ago. My mom is still living at age 92. We are just intereted if anyone recalls this and would like to share the information with us.
