CA-PA-TX? is on a distinguished road
Default Freaking out about selling house York PA

We just found out we may be moving across the country again and we will need to sell our house in order to do so. The company will not be offering relo which in the area/job we will be moving to is not unusual but anyways...what I am freaking out about is if my house will sell! I am looking for anyone here who has recently bought/sold a home in the $340's in York. Share your experience I am also looking for recommendations for local realtors who can help me price the house right for a relatively quick sale without losing my shirt lol. From numbers I have seen the market here in York is not actually that bad compared to the rest of the country- seems that we are actually up a bit from previous years...is that true?

Any help appreciated

I can understand your feelings of panic. Price is the very most important factor in todays market. York is still a good area and still is active. It is also very important to place your home on as many web sites as possible. Todays buyers are on line and have reviewed your property before ever getting in there car to drive there. Pictures must be clear and show your home off!!!
As an agent in the area I know the market and can give you sound advise. Please do not hesitate to ask. Good luck...Sharon Harris Allquest Real Estate

I can tell what realtor I would Not recommend is Long and Foster. I had some property I own (north of Harrisburg) listed with them . My agent had never been to my property I took the sign and key box up to the property I also had to be there for a showing by another agent because mine called and said she was not able to be there to explain the area and where the property lines are (3 acres).
My dad has a neighbor that had there home in Hanover ($350+) listed with L & F and was not happy either , their agent had very little contact with them also.
