Default Fulton, Franklin or Adams county

I have recently taken a new job that will require me to work in Fulton, Franklin and Adams county. Any suggestions on the best area to look for a place to live? I am a single female and will live alone.

Also, does anyone know of any hostels in the area or places that rent temporary rooms. This move is going to happen really quickly and I need a place to rest my head. I'm taking a trip there to look around this week, so any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Depends on what you are looking for...Fulton County is very rural, Adams has the Gettysburg area and is a little more expensive, and Franklin is in the middle. There are plenty of rentals on the market right now also.

Adams also has McSherrystown/Hanover as well...

Some of the hotels in Hanover I know do longer term rental agreements for fairly normal rates (relative to renting an apartment). That would probably be your best bet.

Thanks for the info. The more that I look around this site, the more I am leaning towards Chambersburg, Shippensburg, Green Castle or Gettysburg. I want a city with some diversity and community activities.

FYI, The South Ridge Motel near Gettyburg is currently renting temporary rooms for around $55.00 per night, weekly for around $180.00. It is currently under renovations so rooms are limited right now.

Not sure if you've found a place yet, but I think the Chambersburg/Shippensburg area would be your best bet. Its more centrally located in the area you are looking at
