actually that is not a myth, taylor did live on a tree farm until she was 9 or 10,which was outside of wyomissing,it was on freemansville road i believe, then she moved to wyo hills on grandview and had a beautiful house. She lived there until she moved to nashville when she was 13.This info is pretty acurate i believe,i don't live too far from wyomissing and have been there alot.I have also met Taylor before and she's probably one of the nicest people i have ever met.I'm proud to be from the same area.

Are there people living on the same tree farm that she did today?

Yea, to add some reality here. Grandview is far from a "ranch" and Wyomissing is not "rural". I grew up there before she did and it was all strip malls and housing by the time I was in high school in the 90's.

Grandview is one of the richest places to live in the county (it sits on top of a lone hill) will some really big houses and some mansions. Her dad was a rich wall street broker and she was mostly home schooled. She grew up just about as rich and sheltered as you can get in this area of the county.

Go ahead and visit grandview sometime...you'll see the grand difference between reality and hollywood mythos.

(not knocking her for her music...but the background story she perpetuates is a lie)

Sorry there is no evidence of this. Ask anybody from the area. There are no "tree farms" outside of Wyomissing. In fact, there is no "outside" of wyomissing at all. Its surrounded by other suburbs and the city. The closest rural area would be near Penn State Berks and thats mostly owned by the county and is not in Wyomissing.

While you are in Wyomissing, visit the Berkshire Mall and its fountain, made famous on You Tube (where the texting woman fell in).

Yeah, I lived there too, long before the '90's though. It was all pretty much developed by the '80's, but I remember an elderly woman who was the last holdout giving up her farm and land for development. It was this white farm house and barn, surrounded by hotels/malls. Boy was she stubborn! Some of us really applauded her.

Don't know anything about the rest of this, but there is at least one tree farm right near Nolde Forrest, which could be considered "outside" of Wyomissing.

LOL! I went to Wilson HS (of course on the same street). We moved there when I was 9. My dad would take us down this street and say "Look girls! What a graaand view! Isn't this a graaand view? What a graaand view!" We figured it out he he
