It's official.. we are renting a house in Lehighton. Need to know what the utility company is and the local cable/internet/phone company (do they have a triple play package?).

Thanks everyone!

My guess is PPL. PPL Electric Utilities Your cable and phone is going to be very area specific. In my small school district there are options or lack of options according to your street. We can only have service electric for cable but other people have the choice of Service Electric or RCN. Your best source of information is your landlord.

I'm pretty sure PPL services Lehighton borough- I know they provide electric to the outer areas where my DH is from. Blue Ridge Cable is very popular and has cable, phone, and internet as a monthly package. My in-laws live in the Lehighton area and just converted to Blue Ridge's package and are liking it so far. Welcome and congrats on your move!

Service Electric Cablevision serves my area as well as the Lehighton area. That's also how I get my internet service - through PTD.net (prolog). They're very reliable. In the five years I've had them I think I've only lost service two or three times. They have different plans (speed of access) you can get. I have the cheapest (slowest) and it's more than adequate for me - and I work online 8 hours a day!
