Default I moved from Central CA to Central PA, need housing.

I'm looking for housing in Lewisburg. In the downtown area, preferably. I don't really know how to go about finding housing. I'm looking for either a room to rent, an apartment to share or a small apartment. Furnished would be amazing because I honestly just came with a bag of my belongings. I'm a college student, nothing crazy. I did get a job downtown so I'm aiming in that area. If anyone knows about any apartments/rooms or you're offering please let me know!

Try asking your employer for recommendations.
Walk around looking for signs.
Try a local realtor's office.
Since college has already started I'm thinking empty apartments may be hard to find. Since you're a student, you may also see if there's an on-campus bulletin board to post an ad to share rent with someone.
Or check with the student life office on campus. They often have recommendations for off-campus housing.

Just to add onto Dawne's excellent recommendations, consider posting ads online on free sites such as CraigsList or Roommates.Com. Welcome to North Central Pennsylvania. Lewisburg is a very lovely town, and I hope you enjoy your stay here.

If being in Lewisburg itself isn't important and you drive, Sunbury is about a 20min drive down Route 15 and rent is cheap there--for only $300 you can get a decent place. However, if you are like me, when I went to college I didn't have to drive to class, so I had to settle for higher prices in the college town itself. Plus, Lewisburg is one of the nicest towns in the area; its downtown is just beautiful. So if you can swing it financially, by all means go for it!
